The basics
What is Biom?
Biom is an AI assistant dashboard for ongoing projects, like a YouTube channel: it connects your accounts, finds what needs doing, and does it once you approve. Tell it what you’re working on, and it builds your dashboard around that. Each thing it finds becomes a task with its own button, ready for your assistant.
Who is Biom for?
Biom is for people with an ongoing project, work that keeps coming back: a YouTube channel, a group you run, training for a race or a small shop. You don’t need to be technical. It isn’t made for one-off jobs, like planning a party or a move.
How is Biom different from ChatGPT or Claude?
Biom builds a visual dashboard around your ongoing project that updates itself, with no setup beyond linking your accounts. ChatGPT or Claude can do parts of this only once you set it up yourself, app by app and instruction by instruction, which takes technical know-how. Biom is one place to look, with what matters first, and every task comes with a plan drafted on its own and drawn for you to approve. You can use both: Biom’s Free plan runs on either subscription. See the full comparison: Biom vs ChatGPT.
Do I need to be technical to use Biom?
No. You describe your project in a sentence, like “Help me grow my baking channel,” and Biom builds your dashboard. On Personal and Power, Biom Assistant is included, so there’s no AI model to set up.
Do I need to set anything up?
No. Link your accounts and tell it what you’re working on. Biom builds the dashboard and starts finding work on its own, with no prompts, automations or setup. On Free, you also bring the AI subscription you already have.
What kind of work can Biom do for me?
Biom does the work that keeps coming back in the apps you already use. For a baking channel, that means replying to new comments, sending a recipe to the people who asked for it, writing back to a sponsor, scheduling the next video or posting a Short. Each one shows up on your dashboard as a task with its own button.
Who is building Biom?
Biom is built by its founder, Jesse Musa, who has worked on self-improving AI agents at Salesforce, plus a plethora of visual AI & computer vision research projects.
Approving and editing
Does Biom send anything without asking me?
No. Biom finds work on its own, but it only acts when you tell it to. Pressing a task opens its plan and drafts, like the email it would send a sponsor. Approve it as it is, or change it with your assistant first. Nothing goes out until you say so.
What happens if Biom gets something wrong?
You catch it before it goes out, because every task opens as a plan with its drafts and waits for your approval. If a draft is off, press Edit and tell your assistant what to change, like “make it warmer.” Each change becomes a new version of the plan for you to check.
Can I edit what Biom writes?
Yes. Press Edit on any plan and work on it together with your assistant: say what should be different, and it rewrites the draft. Once it reads right, approve it and it’s sent.
Does Biom keep working when my laptop is closed?
Yes, on Personal and Power: Biom Assistant works 24/7 in the cloud, even with your lid closed. It keeps watching your connected accounts and finding what needs doing, and it still waits for your approval before anything is sent. Free runs on your own computer, so it works while your computer is on.
Accounts and data
Which accounts can Biom connect to?
Biom connects to the apps you already use, on every plan, including YouTube, Instagram, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Shopify and WhatsApp. It reads what’s new in them, turns what needs doing into tasks, and does the work there once you approve.
Does Biom replace the apps I already use?
No. Biom works beside your apps: it reads from them and does the work in them, so YouTube, Gmail, your calendar and the rest stay exactly as they are.
Where does my data live?
On Free, Biom runs on your own computer and works on your local files, with the AI subscription you already have. On Personal and Power, Biom Assistant runs in the cloud, which is how it keeps working with your laptop closed. The details of how the paid plans store your data aren’t published yet.
Does Biom work on my phone?
Yes. Personal and Power work on your phone, laptop and browser. Biom is coming to Mac, Windows and the web, with a native phone app later. Free runs on your own computer.
Plans and pricing
Is Biom free?
Yes, Biom has a Free plan for $0. It connects your accounts and runs on your own computer with the AI subscription you already have, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, so it works while your computer is on. The paid plans include Biom Assistant, so you don’t need a subscription of your own, and keep working 24/7 in the cloud. Nothing is on sale yet: every plan joins the waitlist.
How much does Biom cost?
Biom has three plans: Free at $0, Personal at $20 a month and Power at $50 a month. Free connects your accounts and runs on your own computer with the AI you already have. Personal is for one person and includes Biom Assistant, working 24/7 in the cloud even with your laptop closed. Power is everything in Personal with 2.5x more usage. Prices as of October 2026.
What’s the difference between Personal and Power?
Power is Personal with 2.5x more usage, and nothing else. Personal is $20 a month, for one person; Power is $50 a month, for heavy use.
Is there a free trial?
No, there’s no free trial. The Free plan is the way to try Biom: it costs $0 and runs on the AI subscription you already have.
What does “bring your own AI” mean?
It means the Free plan runs on the AI subscription you already pay for, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, instead of Biom Assistant. You keep your own account and plan, and Biom uses it to do the work. If you don’t have one, Personal includes Biom Assistant.
